No, not in Europe yet. Stuck in Chicago.
So I got to SD Int’l Airport bright and early and checked in. However, the flight was delayed three hours because the weather in stupid Chicago was too bad. So it was fun sitting on the airplane while it taxi’d the runway for two hours. The seats on United Airlines are really really cramped, so it was also fun trying to get the guys sitting next to me to wake up so I can go to the bathroom before my bladder exploded.
I get to O’Hare and I obviously miss my connecting flight to London. I wait in line for three hours (not even exaggerating, and they reassign me to another flight that leaves TOMORROW at 4:14PM. Thanks, United. You give me a lot of time to be bored but not enough time to go out and see the town.
Thus far, this vacation has been a bust. Hopefully it will get better. Hopefully.
I miss home already.

Still in Chicago. However, the flight is less than two hours away and it’s looking okay. Still raining here at the airport, though, but I will be flying on Economy Plus. Not sure what the “plus” entails, but I get an aisle seat! I usually try to limit my liquids on airplanes because it’s such a hassle to use the restroom.
It’s a really long flight to London, but I hear we will fly over Iceland, so it should be pretty. Thanks for all the encouraging words on my last entry. And yes, Danae, you are correct. If any of you guys ever have a connecting flight, do not fly through Chicago. It’s just not worth the hassle.
The flight should be pretty decent. I have a fully charged iPod with two seasons of Arrested Development on it. My Nintendo DS is also fully charged. The in-flight movies are going to be “Over the Hedge” and “The Sentinal.” Not sure if I can watch Keifer Sutherland when he’s not Jack Bauer, though.
I hope my check-in gets there with me. That would be a major pain if it went missing. *cross fingers*
