Europe Trip 9 : Santorini, Greece

Santorini 1

We woke up in the morning and took the metro to the seaport in Greece.  Travelling anywhere with my luggage has become a real chore.  Stairs and cobblestone roads are not my friends.  The boat was pretty nice.  It wasn’t fully booked, so we got to sit pretty much anywhere we wanted.  The trip took like 4.5 hours.

Santorini is quite a sight.  A very small city with cute white buildings everywhere.  The taxi wanted 24 euros.  We found a bus for 1.50 euros.  we got there just as the sun was setting over the black volcanic island.

We had dinner at the gyro place on the street.  Pretty good.  I never really liked Greek food before, but it’s so CHEAP compared to other European countries.  1.5L of mineral water at the market is like 21 cents too.  Not too sure what we’re doing tomorrow, but it’s supposed to be chill and I’m all for that.

This was my last stop on my Euro Trip.  Thanks for reading!
