Video: Michael Pollan Speaks In Defense of Food

LeOnion send this link to me this morning and I felt somewhat inclined to post it here today because I thought it was very enlightening and quite entertaining. Michael Pollan explained his “eater’s manifesto” at Google last March. It is an hour-long lecture and Q&A session. He speaks about food, health, culture, dieting and why we’re getting fatter as a nation.

Michael Pollan is a professor of journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is also director of the Knight Program in Science and Environmental Journalism.
