Disgusting, isn’t it?
Funny story…it all started with a picture posted on Facebook by a friend of mine. Since the comments themselves are priceless and tell the story rather well, I’ll just give you a transcript of what went on… (names have been omitted for privacy purposes).
DWL: K…what in the world is this….
K: Cajun shrimp and crawfish.
G-lato: looks like throw-up
K: One of these days, I will take you there. You will regret saying it looks like vomit.
SY: mmmmm.. Boiling Crab. Heck, just for that, G-lato doesn’t get any. He just has to watch us eat.
RM: Seriously… That does not look appetizing at all. It may taste good, but looks awful!
K: Hey RM, you have never been to Boiling Crab?
RM: nope….. however, if you say it’s good I’m inclined to believe you since you have never let me down in the food category.
G-lato: haha…you guys eat might messy haha. where is this place anyway?
K: Dude, I got to take both of you there. There are several locations. One is in Alhambra, the other two is in Westminster/Fountain Valley (one on Euclid and the other on Brookhurst). The one on Brookhurst is the best. It has tons of flat screen TVs and the food is not that expensive. I will upload pix of the Brookhurst location.
RM: I’d be down for that. Let me get a job first and then we’ll go.
G-lato: name the day and time. hahaha I’m good for some seafood!
K: How about Mrs G-lato? Does she like spicy food?
G-lato: she can’t have spicy food actually. there are non spicy options I hope?
K: There are non spicy options. Is she grossed out eating shrimp with its head still on?
G-lato: nah, we do it all the time! as long as it’s not spicy, we’re good.
A day later…
G-lato: Alright, went to the place yesterday. it was good! I’m sold on it! Gotta go again! Haahaa.
Yokomo: That looks nasty!
G-lato: looks like someone needs to go there. haahaa
Another Day later…
Yokomo: (after K asks here to eat her previous words) OK K, as promised…I am going to eat my words! Looks are deceiving. The shrimp, the cat fish, clams, etc. ALL MOUTH WATERING…DELICIOUS! Worth the 2 hour wait!

Awww…shrimp…corn…how I miss thee!!!
I couldn’t have written a review better than the comments themselves! Definitely a great place to get down ‘n dirty with your seafood. The best part, you’ll actually have a lot of fun doing it.
Here’s a quick recommendation: One pound of shrimp (per person), sha’ bang sauce (this doesn’t make sense but it will once you are there), non-spicy or mild (don’t go beyond that or you won’t taste anything after your tongue goes numb, plus you don’t wanna load up on drinks), add corn and sausages. Basket of sweet potato fries. If you got room, the catfish and the clams are also quite tasty.

The Aftermath!!!
The waiting time is a killer, but that’s because this place is VERY popular. What are you waiting for? Grab your worst set of clothes and head over because it’s going to be a messy good time!
Fantastic Cajun Seafood
Killer Waiting Time
To-Go is about 7 doors down and only takes 15 minutes
Fun!!! Tasty!!! Messy!!!
Shrimp is best value, tasty and cheap
Don’t forget the Corn and Sausages
Sorry, no reservations
